Lyndon and Danielle met whilst on their counselling degree at Sunderland University. While sharing common interests and activities, it was their love and passion of helping people with their struggles, is how Be Brave was born.
Danielle has a background in education and Lyndon has a military background, which ultimately put him on the path to counselling. He personally knew two veterans who had sadly taken their own lives due to the struggles of civilian life and the failure to adapt from military life. He had a vision of helping veterans in any way he could, so he trained to be a counsellor and started by helping people in his local community. When he mentioned this to Danielle, she was on board.
Both Lyndon and Danielle have suffered bereavement and trauma in their lives, which stands them in good stead for helping others with similar difficulties.
Through Be Brave, they aim to offer a highly personalised approach, tailored to each of their clients’ individual needs to help them attain the personal growth they are striving to achieve.
